Davainc nous a communiqué une tumeur ovarique provenant d'une femme de quarante ans. Cette tumeur avait le volume d'un petit œuf de poule, elle n'avait point occasionné d'accidents pendant la vie: elle offre, cxtérieurement, une membrane tibreuse médio- crement vasculaire, et intérieurement, une surface assez lisse, plus épaisse sur un point de sa circonférence. Elle présente des prolongements en forme de brides sur plusieurs points. Les poils implantés ne sont pas très nombreux, mais très fins, variant entre 1/80" et 1/206 de millimètre de largeur; ils sont blancs, n‘ont en moyenne que de 3 a 6 millimètres de longueur; leur pointe est très marquée, et leur extrémité inférieure se termine distincte- ment en un bulbe qui offre tous ses caractères physiologiques. A côté des poils et irnlépendantment d‘eux. mais surtout dans les parties qui en sont garnies, on trouve une multitude de glandu]es sébacées des plus distinctes, ayantjusqu'ù l,'!t de millimètre de largeur (pl. XX.\lX, fig. 3). Il est facile de reconnaître leur structure lol»ée, ainsi que la graisse granulcuse et globuleuse de leur intérieur. leur disposition en forme de grappe, et dans plusieurs on reconnait parfaitement bien le conduit excréteur (pl. XXXIX, fig. 6 et 7). Là où elles acmmpagnent les poils, elles sont au nombre de deux. La surface interne de tout ce kyste est recouverte généralement d‘un enduit épi- thélialou plutôt épidermique, offrant de grands feuillets d'épiderme comme ceux de la peau, et dans plusieurs, un noyau distinct (pl. XXXIX, fig. 5). Le derme du kyste est composé de faisceaux tibreux entrecroisés comme l'est le derme normal. J'ajouterai que M. Davaine a trouvé, sur un point de la circonférence interne du kyste, un petit tubercule irrégulier, composé d'une substance ostéo- cartilagineuse. Le morceau de la pièce qui renfermait ce cartilage né m'ayant point été remis, je ne puis donner, à ce sujet, de plus amples détails. uti- cv1. … ]fyxtc dermai(le de l'ovaire. (Pl. xxxvn, fig. !..) du VII, : ce l€ii_fi Pendant un court séjour que je fis à Berlin au connueucement de l'année 18à6, Dieffenbach me proposa d'extirper, a sa clinique, une tumeur enkystée qui avait son siégeäu-dessus de la paupière supérieure gauche. Ifn jeune homme figé de vingt-quatre ans, d'une bonne constitution, portait cette tumeur depuis sa naissance. ll n'en avait été incommodé que depuis peu de temps; elle était située au-dessus du faire 1 du {VI, tempoils : ces cette tem- )rme par la suppuration et ne mirent point obstacle a la cicatrisation complète. ‘ .Le contenu de cette tumeur était composé d'une graisscjaune, de la consistance du snif, montrant, au microscope, de la graisse granu- leuse et des vésicules, sans véritables cellules adipeuses et sans cristaux gras. La paroi interne du kyste, close de toutes parts avant l'opé- ration, préseutait tous les caractères d'une organisation cutanée complète. Bien qu'il ne fut point facile d'enlever l'épiderme isolé, on put cependant aisément constater son existence sur des coupes verticales qui, traitées par l‘acide acétique. tirent reconnaître les feuillets et les noyaux des cellules épidermiques, Le derme lui-mème était composé d'un tissu tibro-aréolaire, semblable à celui de la peau. Toute la surface interne du kyste était recouverte de petits poils blanchâtres, fins, courts, solidement implantés, et dont le bulbe et la gaine étaient très nettement visibles. A côté de chaque poil se trouvaient deux glandes sébacées enferme de grappe, dont le conduit excréteur se rapprochait de la surface du poil; elles étaient gorgées de leur produit de sécrétion, tout a fait identique avec la graisse contenue dans le kyste. Sans entrer dans beaucoup de détails qui se trouvent consignés dans l‘endroit cité, je dirai seulement que j'ai constaté que ce kyste était intra-méningien, qu'il s'était creusé une fossette assez vaste uvert dans les os environnants de la base du crâne, et que le contenu, examiné au microscope, était entièrement composé dcpoils et d'une deux graisse d'apparence sébacéc. La pièce étant sèche et conservée dans cetétat depuis longtemps, il m'a été impossible de reconnaitre s'il y ipliés‘ avait eu ou non des glandes sébacées à la face interne du kyste; cela me paraît probable cependant, d'après la nature de cette graisse .'ise‘s. -et d'après ce que nous avons observé dans,les kystes (lermoides chez l'homme. ]u'0n lastes CV…. - Papilles capillif0rmcs d la suc/ace de [o /zmquc. En un mot, il n'y avait nulle part la veritable structure de poils. La peau extérieure était mobile sur la tumeur, tandis que celle-ci ne l'était que partiellement sur l‘os sous-jacent. _ 'Je pratiquai l'opération en faisant une incision semi-lunaire sur toute la largeur de la tumeur. Après avoir disséqué la peau des deux côtés, je la fis écarter par des aides, etje séparai ensuite le kyste avec le bistouri et avec des ciseaux, mais je rencontrai des adhérences si intimes avec le périoste frontal que je fus obligé de laisser quelques brides (l'adhérence de la base, qui, en effet, plus tard, se détruisirent !
