" .- " This is a one and a half story Victorian cottage of pattern book design. The house has a gabled roof which faces the street and a recessed front corner porch which contains the entrance. Decorative features include exposed purlins, shingled gable, and heavy stone lintels. The lot was originally owned by Annie M. Justesen, one of the plural wives of Rasmus Justesen. Annie lived in a two room adobe house which stood back from the northeast corner of the lot. In 1910, Annie sold the lot to her son, Ernest. Ernest built this brick house shortly thereafter. The Justesen family owned the house until 1975. |
