He grew up there and worked on a farm and freighted produce to the mining towns of Utah and Nevada. In the spring of '92 he came to Mayfield, where he now owns 200 acres of fine land and raises hay and \XJ grain. tian Is also interested in the Mayfield Roller Mill. married in Ephraim July, 1876, to Mary A., daughter of Tary and Margaret A. Thurston, born in Ephraim October 23, 1856.
