They have had nine children: James C, Johannah, Andrew, Main-, to Utah. engaged in Maria, John Y., Niels and Joseph, living; and Saren, deceased. In the fall of '81 he came to Castle Dale and engaged in farming. Now has a good farm of 100 acres. Was elected County Treasurer in '92 and re-elected twice, being a competent, capable and trustworthy man.
