NOTE: The 27 non-diagnostic sherds from Mouse House were originally included in the mid-PII assemblage, based on the resemblance of one sherd to Black Mesa Black-on-white, a type with a long production span. Reexamination of the utility ware assemblage based on patterns observed at sites with larger assemblages suggests that the assemblage probably dates between AD 1150 and 1200, and should have been included in early Pueblo III. Results presented in this chapter that rely on assemblages grouped into the categories above include the 27 Mouse House sherds in mid-Pueblo II, but because the assemblage is so small and no named decorated types are included, no ill effects should ensue.
