Gerrard,and much enla rged the fame both by theadditjon ofmany Figures and hiftories ofPlants not formerly contained ™’ in it,and by the amendingandenereafing the hiftorie of fundry of thofe which before were thereintreated of, I finde that I haue forgotten diuers which I intended to haue addedin their fitting places : the occafion hereof hath beene,my many bufineffes, the troublefomeneffe,and aboue all, che great expe tation and haft of the Worke, wherebyI wasforced to performe this task within the compaffe ofa yeare.
