Show 34 Under the chairmanship of Creetie Kerr, a new member this year, the contest and meeting were so outstanding that Creetie's report was printed in fu II in the Utah Business Woman. One member sent this report to friends in NeblOska, and now the BPW there is sponsoring a simi lar essay contest. Announcement of the name of Colleen Smith as winner of a BPW scho larship was made by Dona Sumner, proiect chelrmen, at the meeting. Miss Smith, a senior at May Orem High School, is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle A. Smith, Oesm The $150 scholarship is to be used for education in the business field or dental assistant study at Utah Technical College at Provo. Funds were raised through various small projects within the club during the year. , PANGUITCH Jane Brown The Panguitch BPW Club elected the following officers for the 1967-68 year: Jane Brown, president; He ten Wright, vice president; Rea Dodds, secretary-treasurer; Ivan Cline, historian; Nida Mae Jensen, recording secretary; and Nina H. Steele, corresponding secretary. A delicious dinner was enjoyed along with a very entertaining proglOm and the installation of the at new officers. r During this past year our club has attempted to make it possible for a II eligible women moving into Panguitch to have an opportunity to join the club. a A personal development program was encouraged in the club as it is felt this is good pro [ect for business and professiona I women. Cards and gifts have been sent to club members and their fami lies who have been sick or bereaved. A beneficial and interesting beautification program was discussed in one of our rneetings. Much interest was noted in this project.
