Our Fall and Spring District Conferences were highlighted by the attendance of most of our state officers. Our Young Career Woman program was carried out at the Spring Conference in Price, with a candidate selected by each club and presented at the conference, where a selection was made for a Young Career Woman to represent our Southeastern District at the State 'onvention in Park City .. Through the tremendous efforts of all club members, projects were undertaken by each club to help finance the Youthpower Conference and the Young Career Woman program, as well as providing for generous contributions to our state and local charities. We were proud and happy to be the first district in Utah to receive the $50.00 grant from the State Federation to help finance our Youthpower Program. Attaining membership gools was a somewhat different story, with our Helper Club coming from behind to toke the lead in the Membership Golf Tournament.
