This District has functioned well under the capable leadership of the club presidents: Provo; Willie Smith, Oremj Norma Johnson, Spanish Fork. Twilla Newbury, Each club has been visited by District Officers; the programing set by State and Nationa I was stressed with each visitation. . The Orem Club sponsored, for Civic Participation, a contest entitled UWhat the United States Means to Me ". Along with 53 civic organizations supporting this contest, which has been acclaimed with much success. The Provo Club only has chosen a Young Career Woman to be presented at the Spring club being hostess. Conference, which will be held iV\arch 29, 19681 at Provo, Utah, this Officers for the District will be elected at this time, with President Jean Fox as installing officer. This District has had a decrease in membership this year but feels the potential for growth and that progress wi II be made in 1968. The District sends its thanks to State Officers and Committee Members for the cooperation they have given to this District during the year. A special thanks to each member for being a member of BPW. |
