Show 19 NORTH CENTRAL DISTRICT Mabel O'Brien Fa! District Conference was held iointly with the Central District at the Doll House Lake Salt in City with 79 members attending. A delicious dinner was served, and an excellent by our state officers. A trio from Olympus High began our year of "Aecent program presented II with a delightful rendition of a medley from Music Iv\an. on Youth The Youthpower USA Conference, also iointly sponsored with assistance of the Sean Roebuck Foundation, was held at the University of Utah on April 8, 1967. Approximately a hundred students from Davis, Salt L:1ke, Tooele, and Summit Counties participated. Excellent speakers and pane Is were presented. Students and facu Ities were both most receptive to the program. This project received unanimous support of both Districts, and all clubs enthusiastically supported this most worthwhi Ie program. - Spring Conference will be held at Chuck O'Rcmo on April 15, 1967; Bountiful Club will hostess. Our Young Career Woman will be selected, district officers installed, and a fine program presented. The presidents and members of Bountiful, Coalville, Ensign, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake League, and Wasatch Clubs have been friendly and hospitable. My visit to each club was warm and receptive. Excellent programs were presented, .and a sense of accomplishment was prevalent. Working with these women has indeed been a pleasure. NORTHERN DISTRICT Blenda A. Bair The Northern District has hod a very successful and rewardig year. Beginning with Fait Conference, where we received our instructions and aims from our state officers, everyone has been full of enthusiasm, and we have all worked hard to make all of our clubs more interesting and progressive. our ' We haven't been fortunate enough to organize any new clubs this year, but all of our clubs have gained their 10% increase. We are a Iso going to have eight Gold Cards in our Northern District. Our Youthpower Conference, held at Weber College, was very successful, both from the BPW viewpoint and from the student viewpoint. We had exceJlent speakers, and the whole day was packed with interest for the students. We have received very favorable comments, both from the students and the adults who attended. We certainly wont to thank Weber College for their wonderful cooperation. . Plans are going forward for our Spring Conference It is going to be he ld at Logan 23.
