Temple No.7 Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 Dear Anne: Your letter brought welcome news. You certainly do not need my help in Utah. Mr. Vice President of Sears-Roebuck Hurford, Undoubtedly Foundation, had not re ceived the letter from Mr. Marley that you were interested in receiving additional support. It was at Mr. Hurford's request that I wrote the letters. Knowing your activities of last year I was supposing that you were continuing the program. I am del ighted, and the Sears Roebuck Foundation is interested in the continuation of the program. We are hoping somehow to get Idaho interested. It was Dave's suggestion that If I went to Idaho, I could drop down into Utah to encourage your continuance of the program. We developed two large leather scrapbooks with the copies of the programs, pictures, publ icity, etc., for the Sears-Roebuck Foundation so that they would know what was being done, not only in the seven western states, but also throughout the nation. They were pleased with the results. Keep up the good work and I sha II look forward to hearing your report. are making progress. Cordially, Dr. Dorothy M. Ford DMF/md You certa inly |
