It is more than one hundred years old and had its beginning because women were scoffed at for daring to try to enter Medical School. It is located in Philadelphia. Western The College has been sound and solid and effective all through the years. \Vomen proved their ability to operate a College and graduates proved their ability to be excellent doctors. Their record is one we can view with pride as they pulled themselves along by their own determination and hard work. needs doctors in ever increasing numbers. They Nam and in all areas of our nation. Now, the country needed in Viet something we can do are The Arizona Federation passed a Resolution unanimously at the State Convention to be presented at the National Convention in TIle Resolution Atlanta. requests 'that our membership consider giving voluntary' financial support to the College. We enjoyed helping build and furnish the Nurses' Training Center in Formosa, now, we suggest that assistance be given to our own center training for doctors. We want you to know the action we have taken and why, and we solicit your support. Our Resolution suggests that each member might contribute one dollar ($1) during the year, though it would, of course, be voluntary. One small club in Arizona took donations on a hand-made quilt and raised $100. We believe women and we our B.
