Show Iii 7 SECOND VICE PRESIDENT Josephine Ye'rgensen The launching of our 1967-68 program began with the "Count Down n and "Blast Off" State Board Meeting last August. As we began our Plan for Progress, a II Systems started to function. Since that time, we have accomplished rrny of our desired goals. at out Fa II I have had the privilege of working with the District Directors this yeari their cooperation in planning and ananging the District Conferences has been outstanding. It has indeed been a rewarding experience to attend a II the District Conferences and see the unity and cooperation we have throughout the State. The reports from the various clubs on their year's activities show that the club programs have been in keeping with our Federation goa Is and objectives as we II as the needs of the members and communities. Our Young Career Woman prom .\'O (,) highlight of our Spring Conferences. The competition in this popular event was so keen that it was very difficult for the iudges to make III' their decisions. This program creates in these young women a desire to achieve in a program which pursues excellence and helps them to better understand their future leadership roles. It has been an honor and a privi lege to serve th is post year as Second Vice President of the Utah Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. 1 welcome the opportunity to give my sincere thanks to every member for being tuned in and receptive to our space-age program and being active Asrro]l lis by pfanning for progress and helping to make All Systems Go. A special vote of appreciation to the District Directors for a [ob well donee MISSION ACCOMPLISHED in reaving this position, I pass on to my successor a rewarding and fascinating task. RECORDING SECRETARY Karla Hulet It has been a wonderful experience to again serve as Recording Seer tory of the Utah Federation of Business and Professiono I Women's Clubs during the past year. Through active participation in the affairs of this organization has come a renewed appreciation of the way BPW provides for individual growth and for the advancement of a II working women. I have attempted to fi II the duties of my office to the best of my obi lity. Following State Convention at Park City lost Ntoy I it was my privi lege to attend the Nationa I Convention in New York City as a delegate. Executive Meetings, Fall and Winter Board Meetings, and District Conferences have a II provided opportunities for pleasant associations. My appreciation of "woman power" growS' as I meet and become better acquainted with more of the members and learn of the programs and activities of the various c lubs Our Federation will be strengthened by the addition of the new clubs that have been added to the roster during the year.
