Show 25 The Christmas lIGet-Better-Acquainted II party was highligbted with songs from an elementary school class. Another Personal Development evening and a Mother's Day program are on the future agenda. .. Bonneville BPW has participated in a Youthpower Conference, held in N\arch at Weber State College, sponsOring 8 students from each of two, high schools; selected Kathy Tropp, an outstanding, delightful, young WOMan for our Young Career Woman representative; and became members of the Community Counci I of Socia I Services We are sending a girl to Girls· State and have donated to the Rheumatic Fever fund. We have been well represented at all state and district meetings and hav met the requirements for a Criteria Club. , As you can see, we have had a full and busy year. We have shared ideas, worked hard, had lots of fun, and made many new friends. We truly feel our association with BPW has been worthwhi le , . ., . We were instrumenta I in the purchase of a Rusuci Anne; we assisted in "Project Peter Pan "; we supported the Rueumatic Fever Heart fund, not only with'a program, but also with a check. We are actively engaged in sponsodng a Youthpower Conference, and we are sponsoring a girl to Girls' State. Two of our members will give a brief talk on what she has seen and leorned there this last year. We try to maintain close coordination with leaders of other civic organizations for the betterment of the community. Our year has not been a II .work and no play. In August we enjoyed a fun party at the Ambassador Club in Salt lake; and in December, we had a delightful Christmas party with an exchange of gifts. We were able to carry on our projects with the money earned from a rummage sale, and we are proud of the fact that we initiated five new members . s " . Our year is about over, but it is because we have had the friendship and loyalty of our members that we can look bock and say, "Thank You ". We feel we have had a good year. |
