Addresses Planned Mrs. Rampton will speak on "The Involvement of Women in Government" at the lunch eon meeting and Mrs. East erling will address the eve ning banquet session. Club Board Meet I 1 Plans for fall activities were made Sunday at the board. meeting of the Utah Federation of BUsiness and Professional Women's Clubs in the Prudential Federal Auditorium, 3261 S. The 126 delegates set the state convention for March 5, 6 and at Park City with the Sugar House and Leagues as ,hostesses S oJ Also discussed were plans for National Businesswomen's Week, Oct. 16 to 22, and the national board meeting Sept. 16 to 18 in Washington, D.C. The legislative committee will meet Oct. 19 possibly in to discuss the election campaign and coming Ieglsla Provo tive action as it pertains to businesswomen, according to Miss H. Ann Kidd, federation president who conducted the - - Sunday session. Fall district conventions scheduled include: South Central, Sept. 23, Provo; Northern, Oct. 2, Brigham: City; Southern, Oct. 15, Milford; Southeastern, Oct. 16, Moab, and North Central, Nov. 5, Salt Lake City. No date or site was set for the Central District meeting. |
