Last year" used the official Club invitations. This year I found some stationery with a yellow-gold rose pattern and thought it would be very effective. We even sign with green ink. A personal invitation was sent to every new prospect signed by the President and the Membership Chairman. I typed and sent twenty four invitations. We took in fourteen new members and exect to add at least four more this month toward next year's I think the results were well worth the membership. effort, and we have some real enthusiastic new members. we I have given considerable thought to the Mental Health program I up at Winter Board meeting. I'm sure that it is obvious to all that we can't sail into such a facet many program without thorough I would like to suggest that the state investigation. organize an investigating committee during the coming year who will provide a report by the next winter Board meeting. brought One phase of the mental health program that has received little the one to provide work sh0ps for older mentally retarded With these work shops, such people could be trained to do some attention is persons. specific tasks, such as stuffing envelopes, and receive even a small wage for the services. This is one program that I haven't had enough time to really investigate, but it sounds like a good one.
