At the fall State Board Meeting and the Fall District Conferences, emphasis was placed introducing the new ACTION ivlANUAL, urging its use and stressing the value of having :ialiMI planned programs both for the regular meetin9S and for any proiect adopted. 11m certain that lpOll1 some confusion was experienced in club program this year since no Program Pointers planning 'IO!r or helps were received from National. However, the ACTION NlANUAL gives us complete guidelines, leaving the details up to u, the individual clubs, to adapt them to the needs and interests of ur communities. Clubs were urged to Plan ulea Perfonn Evaluate. At the 6-01, Winter State Board N\eeting, speakers were featured in each of the three areas and, we believe, gave us a great deal on which to think and plan. :IW 'I on - - Much emphasis has been placed on the Criteria Club Program. Sixteen of our clubs as a Criteria We had Club. qualify hoped for l000k participation tQt but do feel that the other clubs would have qualified if they had done their paper work. It is our hope that,even though your club COMOt enter the Golden Circle, you will all work car toward as a Criteria Club qua lifying during each of the next two years.
