IlUMfN"J Cl .... -------_______________________________ -.-,--------------_._._._------ WHEREAS, working women constitute 26 million of the Nation's working force, and are constantly striving to serve their communities, their states, and their nation in civic and cultural programs; WHEREAS, major goals of business and and professional women are to help women through the study of social, educational, economic and political problems; to help them be of greater service to their community; to further fTieRdship with women throughout the world; and create better conditions WHEREAS, all of us are of endeavor: for business proud of their leadership in these many fields NOW, THEREFORE, I, J. BRACKEN LEE, Mayor of Salt Lake City, Utah, by authority vested in me, do hereby proclaim the period of October 15 through October 21, 1967, as the NATIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN'S WEEK sponsored by the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc., and urge all citizens in Salt Lake City, all civic and fra ternal groups, all educational associations, all news media and other community organizations to join in this salute to working women by en couraging and promoting the celebration of the achievements of all business and professional women as they contribute daily to our economic, civic, . and cultural purposes.
