Lenox The most important function of the nominating committee is getting qua lified candidates for the elected offices of our Federation. We work all year long urging the clubs to encourage women to become nominees for these offices, but when the final date for submitting names comes, it is quite discouraging to end up with only one candidate for most of the offices. This requires our getting in touch with the presidents of the clubs again and making one last plea. We have outstanding leaders in our Federation, and with a membership of over l)'CO, there should be no problem getting a double slate for each office. It not only makes for a healthy election, but it makes it more interesting and challenging to both the candidates a net me mbers • The future of our Federation depends on the leaders we deve lop. We shou Id be preparing our members for state offices now and be proud to present them to represent the State. Begin now to plan for next yeor's election, and let's make it interesting and wholesome.
