The Brigham City Club resolved to send a three-member committee to meetings of the Mento i Hea Ith program and report to the club so that we may decide how and where we can serve 0 Our February chairmen, Kay Olsen, World Affairs, planned a very serious program for the evening and had a short-notice cancellation. She provided a very good program on very short notice. In anticipation of a future national convention in Hawaii, the program was on this theme, and we were treated to a film and talk on Hawaii. We're now primed and ready for a convention there. Mary Johnson, Civic Participation chairman, programmed a law enforcement progrom Box Elder County Sheriff, Warren Hyde, was guest speaker, and he presented a very interest ins to Ik on the activities of the Sheriff's office.. Our nominations and e lections were completed at this meeting. The balance of the year promises more interesting programs and activities. We have had an interesting year and a productive one. We now have 42 members in our club; so our next year shou ld be even more active and interesting. CEDAR CITY Margaret Kopp Looking back overthe past year, the following activities seem to stand out: Although our membership did not become stabilized by August 1, 1966, or equalized by December 31, 1966, we gained eight new members, and our year isn't quite over. We had some very interesting a e program meetings: Shakespearean Festival Attended a performance of the Festival in July at the College of Southern Utah as a group and invited the Zion Club. We had over - 24 in attendance. b. Our program in August honored the girls from Cedar City who attended the annual Girls' State in Logan, Utah, which is sponsored by the American Legion Auxi llory We supported one girl. , SALUTE TO BUS;\.H:SS WOMEN'S WEEK: c , b. c , d.
