C., 20036 DUpont 7-4313 January 31, 1968 Miss Jean Fox, President Utah Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs 269 First Avenue Salt Lake City, Utah 84103 Dear Miss Fox: We are pleased to advise we have released Utah's second new 1967 -68 Club, the Cache Valley Business and Professional Women's Club of Logan, Utah, with 27 new half-year members. The Charter, numbered 6505, has been sent to the engrosser with instructions to forward it to you for your signature and presentation to the new club. The bylaws as submitted are acceptable. Section 1, However, in ARTICLE XI, Program Chairman should be deleted as a Standing Committee since they have made provisions for the First Vice President to be the Program Chairman. Also, ARTICLE XIII, Section 1, does not conflict with the National Bylaws, however, for your consideration, we would like to point out it is not clear as to how many delegates the club is en titled to for the first ten (10) members. We believe it may have been a typing error. I would like to congratulate the Cache Valley Club members for their excellent preparation of their Club Bylaws. We are enclosing two completed Application for Membership forms for retention in your State and Club files. Please convey our thanks to the members of the Logan Business and Pro fessional Women's Club and to the Utah Federation for contributing to Membership Progress by sponsoring this welcome addition to our Federation family.
