The success which our Lo cal Clubs, 'State and National Federations have ex perienced during the past years has been augmented by our unity of purpose, aims and goals. - Let us review: Increased emphasis on furthering our Federation Objectives. Keep them constantly before you. Two suggestions for helping achieve this give special thought and importance to Programming and your Legislative Activity and participate in community activities and services which will fur ther our objectives and create a good public image. - Increased Membership. As you know our Na tional Federation membership has increased for the past two years which indicates that the pen dulum has started swinging in our favor. Utah Federation membership has remained almost sta tionary but I feel that we are poised for a tre mendous leap forward. There is a spirit of antici pation and thoughtful enthusiasm throughout the ---'" ---:::::::es Meeting, as a document We ACHIEVE THROUGH UNITY GOALS Flight Commander, I signed ·pledging the Utah Federation to a gain of! 0% in membership over our June 30, 1967 total, and three new clubs by June 30, Board advancement. tha1 ax "!: Post-Convention 1968. your Your Executive Committee knows that cooperation of every member we will perhaps even exceed it, and be credited with a safe trip to the moon. with the reach that goal, The advisability and value 'of adopting a State Proj ect in lieu of the Rheumatic Fever-Heart Fund was presented at the Fall Board Meeting. Each Club was asked to report their feelings in this regard and, if desired, make specific suggestions for such a Project at the Winter Board Meeting. Further and final ac tion, if necessary, can then be taken at State Con vention. Your Executive Committee is extremely, proud of our Committee Chairmen both Standing and Spec ial. Each is dedicated to B.P.W. and is striving to do their best possible job. Our sincere thanks and ap preciation to them. I, personally, want to say thank you to the members of the Utah Federation for per mitting me to serve as your President.
