Topics such as "Win More Friends by Telephone", "Fascinqting Womanhood", "Sail to Confidence through Good Grooming II , "Food a Nutrition Fact and Fantasy", "Care towards Ourselves in Our Everyday Life ", "Va lue of Continuing Education", were pre sented to the club by well-qua lified speakers with much interest shown by club members. - The Young Career Woroon ·program was the highlight of our activities, with 100% The choosing of the most outstanding Younr Career Woman at each District Conference was most interesting and exciting to the members but exasperating and hard on the iudges. of our Districts participating. Twen of our clubs in the Federation have become Criteria Clubs this year, thus accepting tlie challenge of the National Federation, and each is well on their way to becoming a "Golden Circle Club" in 1969. . Clayson It has been a pleasure working with the Sta·te BPW Board as your State Civic Participation Chairman, and I would like to express my appreciation for this opportunity. I have worked very closely with the State PrograriDing Committee, participating in II action workshops at Fa II Board Meeting and in the reports given by the "Space Ship Crew. This year, Plan for Progress is the therl"le; so blast off with ideas that All Systems Go elevate standards,. promote interests, develop cooperation, and extend opportunity through education. Suggestions for proglOn1 ideas were given to each chairman, and a letter in - - response for each club program was sent to eQch club Civic Participation Chairman. In December your chairman met with the Program Committee, and plans were made for Winter Board Meeting. Rules for the Young Career Women were discussed.
