Our club sponsored its cnnua I IIMost Courteous Women Drivers Contest • a We hove;a member on the Midvale Development Council which meets once month. , We sponsored a Young Career WOrrllA. Our club helped with the 1968 March of Dimes. We addressed 1000 envelopes, sold tickets, and a member worked at headquarters. We donated to the Telerama • We sponsored a benefit card party and bake sa le Proceeds were donated to Midva Ie City Children's Park and the Jordan Valley Day Care Center. , We feel we have had a very successful and happy club- year. MORGAN Jessie Wa Idron The Morgan BPW Club was organ ized last November with the insta I lotion banquet being held December 6, 1967. President Jean Fox conducted the ceremony, installing the new officers. Other State Officers present were De Lone Petersen, Josephine Yergensen, Letha Spencer, and Mabel O'Brien. We were also honore to have past state president Anne Kidd with us. Several members from the Bonneville, Ogden, and Logan Clubs [olned us for the evening. Kaye Stark, president of our sponsoring club, Bonneville, presented President Jessie VVOlldron with a gave I. We' had 40 charter members to share in th is happy event. |
