Show 7 RECORDING SECRETARY Karla Hulet It has been a wonderful privilege and opPortunity to serve as recording secretary of the Utah Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs for the past year. The year began with an inspiring installation ceremony conducted by Hope Roberts at righam ity last Nvly and has been a fine experience a II the way. I have fe It deeply the duties entrusted to me and have tried to fu Ifi II them to the best of my ability. I have attended all Stote Board Meetings and nearly all of the Exeeutlve Committee meetings. In addition, I hove attended some of the District Conferences and Youthpower Conferences, learning of the many fine accomplishments of the clubs throughout the State. All of us as state officers have done what we could toward organizing new clubs. , To know and appreciate an organization, you have to work in it and leam about its goals and achievements. Holding offices in BPW really makes you value your membership in it. Serving in a statewide capacity has surely broadened my horizons end given me an even deeper insight into what ,has been and can be attained by all of us working together. 11m grateful for the opp:>rtunity of serving arid working iwith the outstanding women who are your officers this year. They have carried out the activities of the State Business and Professional Women's Clubs during the past year in a very businesslike and efficient manner, with the goals of the Federation always in mind. It has also been a chance for me to meet and get acquainted with many of the cha irmen, officers, and members of clubs throughout the State. . Let1s all do our share in helping this Federation move forward. CORRESPONDING SECRETARY Eve Iyn E. Elmer It has been a genuine pleasure for me to have had the opportunity to serve as Corresponding Secretary this past year. It has been a privi lege to have been associated with the officers of the State Federation ond , with them, to watch the progress of the year's program which has been accomplished only through the cooperation and [olnt action of each club in the Federation. ' The Youth power Conferences that I have visited hove been a source of inspiration. To see these fine young people as they participate in these groups does much to strengthen our confidence in the future, knowing these young men and women wi II be the leaders of tomorrow who wi II share in the of an building advancing ation. . Through my attendance at the State Board Meetings, the Fall and Spring District Conferences, I have had the opportunity to become better acquainted with many of the club members throughout the State.
