Scholarship. A $100 scholarship will go to a deserving ooele,High School senior who plans to enter a profession or vocation. Tooele County was spotlighted- in cptlot project to improve the image of vocationa I trades and to deve lop scholorsh ips as a means of 'encouraging young people to enter the vocationo I educationa I field where a shorfage has become critical because of over emphasis in other areas of education. Our club joined with other civic organiza tions to form "The Tooele County Citizens United Actions Orgll under the direction of scholar ship chairman Melba Speirs. Problems confronting the City of Tooele were pre y J\f\Qyor Frank BOwman, who invited any comments or suggestions from the group, advising he would be available by appointment at his office in 'City Hall to hear us out.
