Show WELCOME TO The newly organized CACHE VALLEYB.P.W. CLUB held CACHE their installation banquet on February 5, 1968. President Jean Fox conducted at the impressive ceremony. State officers present in addition to Miss Fox were Delone Peterson, Helen Dahle, Mable O'Brien and Letha Spencer. Also present were past state presidents Anne Kidd and Edith Shaw. Several mem bers of the Logan Club were also present. A gavel was present ed to President Lorraine Porter by the B.P.W. Club. Logan On March 4 the Personal Development Committee was in charge of the dinner meeting. Three new members were welcomed into the Club. Mrs. Ronald Daly reviewed "Fascinating Woman hood" by Helen B Andelin. This was very well received by the .. Club. The April 1 meeting was held at the Oldham Memorial. Two new officers Lucia Hornsby, Corresponding Secretary, and Dorothy McClellan, Historian, were introduced. The officers previously elected will serve another year. Our guest speaker, Professor H. Reuben Reynolds, Professor of Art and Curator of the University Galleries gave an illustrated lecture on "Ro manticism, Realism, and Impressionism." It was a very stimu lating lecture. Refreshments were served in the foyer. - VALLEY B.P.W. Our final dinner will be on May 6. However, on May 19, our Club will hold a reception at the University's Juniper Lounge for all foreign women attending Utah State University. The Civic Affairs Committee is in charge and is working hard on the details for the occasion. Invitations will be sent to approxi mately 90 women, the majority of whom are working on ad vanced degrees at USU. We will report on the success of the reception later as we hope to make it an annual affair. Several of our members are crocheting an afghan for a money This will be ready before our May meeting. The past several months have been very challenging for our new Club. We feel that we have a most enthusiastic group of women and that we have already gained from our associations with each other and the B.P.W. Clubs, Inc. We now have 33 members and have approved for several more. We applications are looking forward with great interest to next year's activities. making project.
