He was first on the river from Greenriver , ( Utah Utali ) , ( down -down down ) to its junction with the Colorado River in the ( summer -summer summer ) of 1914 ; the trip commenced the 10th of July , and finished the last part of August , he ( be- be ) lieves . The object of the party was to survey ( reser- reser ) voir and possibly dam sites , situated at the ( junction janction ) of the Green and Grand Rivers . ( ( E R ) . 3950 . ) From Greenriver , Utah , down to the junction , a topographical map , on a ( 1,000-foot 1000foot 1,00-0-foot 1000foot ) scale , and 25- foot contours , within about 200 feet of relief was made . On the upper end of the survey the contours were made at the water surface , and the proposed dam site 225 feet above . ( Mr NTIr ) . Sawyer was in charge of the survey , and Mr . ( Richardson Ricbardson ) in charge of the work . Besides them ( there -there there ) were seven or eight other men . His particular ( work Worl- Worl ) was instrument man operating a plane table .
