Show After installing the seven 1377 and a half horsepower engine and the side wheel ( he lie ) carried considerable supplies from Greenriver , Utah , to his ranch , and from his ranch to the ( Utah-Nevada UtahNevada ) Copper Company , ( twenty-five twentyfive ) miles below . It is operated with surface workings , probably fifteen feet deep , the area being covered possibly three hundred acres and the ore averaging from one and a half to three per cent ( cop- cop ) per . ( R . 5342-5343 . ) According to the reports of the Denver Assay Offices , Reduction Works , the ore is a splendid concentrating ore and with a proper mill it could be successfully and ( profitably profflUably ) concentrated . ( R . 5343-5344 . ) He knows of low grade vanadium and uranium deposits about five miles east of the Green River and a vein of uranium also , one and a half per cent , which covers several acres occuring in the property of the ( Utah-Nevada UtahNevada ) Copper Company . No attempt has ever been made to develop that property . ( R . 5344 . ) He later had another ( fourteen-horsepower fourteenhorsepower ) , ( two- two ) cylinder engine in the Wilmont , and constructed two scows , one thirty feet long with a ( twelve-foot twelvefoot ) beam , and one twenty feet long with an ( eight-foot eightfoot ) beam . These scows and the ( Wilmont TVilmont ) were used for hauling copper ore from the ( Utah-Nevada UtahNevada ) Copper Company , and the Wilmont hauled several tons from the ( prop- prop ) erty to Greenriver , Utah .
