Show but not nefrrly so good a 1282 road and ( tliey they ) ( practically pTactically ) came together before ( tliey they ) reached the ( ranch raiiell ) . R . 4854 . ) He saw ( sand saiid ) waves at the ( month mouth ) of the San Juan River when ( he lie ) went down with ( Mr 3NIr ) . ( LaRne LaRue ) and Mr . ( Rieharson Richarson ) in 1915 . They are just like ocean waves and he did not pay any attention to ( them theni ) . They were just ( coming conihig ) out of the San Juan and did not interfere with his boating . He made his headquarters with the Chenoweth Party after ( Ohenoweth Chenoweth ) got down , but he ( wasn't wasnt ) on the boat with Mr . Lint at all . ( R . 4855 . ) From his experience on the Green River from the San Rafael to the junction and the Colorado River from ( Hall's Halls ) Crossing down to Warm Creek , in comparison , he believes there are more rapids ( 011 on ) the Colorado River and as far as the navigation of the river with the boats he has used there would be practically no difference in going ( downstream downstreani ) ( as -is is ) there is plenty of ( water -water water ) in every case . In going upstream , he believes the current is a little stronger on the lower Colorado than from the junction of the rivers up the Green River to the mouth of the San Rafael . This comparison is based on the ( months montlis ) that he has been there . ( R . 4855-4856 . ) Redirect ( examination exambtation ) ( R . , Vol . 27 , pp . 4856- 4858 ) : The only difference , he believes , is that more power is required . He believes there is a little more current and he knows it is a little steeper |
