Show * . * vV . ( -iisj iisj ) - . jieacWii * 1240 One of these places was the Townsite Bottom , and one was called the Phil Foote Bottom . ( R . ( 4881-4882 4881-4,882 ) . ) The Phil ( Poote Foote ) Bottom has several hundred acres in it and he estimated the Valentine ( Bottom Bott6i ) had about one thousand acres . The ( Town- Town ) site Bottom is quite large ; the approximation would be about three or four hundred acres . Another bottom called Grassy Bottom , of which he ( doesn't doesnt ) remember the acreage , might be larger or smaller than the others . ( R . ( 4882 48S2 ) . ) None of these trips had anything to do with a sanatarium . He observed a large bottom below the junction and above the head of the Cataracts that is about ( one-half onehalf ) mile long and is almost that wide . The ( noil qcdl ) is the finest soil in the world ; lie took samples of it . He did not figure . on irrigating by gravity as he expected to use a pump but the lands are so ( situ situ- situ ) ated that river water can be used in time . He ( couldn't couldnt ) tell the dimensions of the ( "Wolverton Wolverton Wolverton ) boat . ( ( E R ) . ( 4882-4883 4SS2-4883 4SS24883 ) . ) On the trip that Mr . Wolverton took him on , there were six in the party and he believes it was made in either September , 1905 or 1906 . He took a trip down the river in . October 1914 , , for the purpose of taking moving pictures of the Cataracts , Charles Russell , being the head of the expedition , and Mr . Tadje the camera man . ( R . 4884-4885 . ) They had a rowboat ( made inade ) of sheet steel ; a boat designed to run the Cataracts . This was the only boat they had and they went through |
