( R . 4633-4634 . ) On this trip they got two deer , just below Indian Creek , on the Colorado River , and they transported the deer in their boat until they ate it up ; they also brought ( some soine ) home . He was ten years old at this time , and he ( doesn't doesnt ) recall any difficulties that were encountered in ( navi navi- navi ) gating the boat . As he grew older he had occasion to make other trips on the Green River , and in ( 1915 191-D 191D ) he took a trip ; went just a little below Valentine Bottom , about one hundred miles down the river . This was a trapping and hunting trip , and his brother went with him . They got some furs ; fox , coyotes , badgers , and various other furs , and brought ( them thein ) up in a boat to Greenriver and shipped them . He made a trip of the same character the ( follow follow- follow ) ¬ ing year ; practically the same trip , and his brother was . with him . They left Greenriver on October ( twenty-second twentysecond ) and came back in December . |
