Show ordered the boat ( ( Itiff Riff ) ( Climber' Climber Cliviber ) 765 ( he lie ) had no ( 111'for- 111for ) mation concerning the tunnel boat used on the lower stretch of the Colorado . ( R . 2953 . ) He did not make an estimate of the cost of ( up-- up ) keep of the road . A boat like the large Moab ( Ga- Ga ) rage boat would cost about one and ( one-half onehalf ) times . as much as a ( fifteen-ton fifteenton ) truck . ( R . 2954 . ) Construction of the road was not contemplated unless a producing oil field was developed and until that time it was decided that transportation on the river was feasible and practicable . ( R . 2955 . ) Further ( examination examthiation ) ( R . Vol . 16 , pp . ( 2956- 2956-- ) 2959 . ) When he testified that a large boat like the Moab Garage boat would cost one and a half or two times as much as a ( fifteen-ton fifteenton ) truck he had in , mind the cost of the boat as being twelve thousand dollars . If the boat cost seven thousand dollars , it would be about the same as the cost of a truck of that type . There were actually 238 barrels of oil produced on the ( twenty-four twentyfour ) hour run in the middle of ( Janu Janu- Janu ) ary from the discovery well [ John H . Shafer well No . 1 . ] The first flow , of ( not inot ) to exceed 200 barrels was wasted . The third ( twenty-four twentyfour twelity-four twelityfour ) hours , 80 ( bar-- bar ) rels were produced and 40 barrels per day for ( some some- some ) thing over a ( month mouth ) ( afterwards afteTwards ) , together with about 400 barrels of water . ( R . 2956 . ) As lie remembers , the wells stopped producing in ( November No-kember Nokember ) or December , 1926 . The well was not ( 33307-31-vor 3330731vor ) , . 2-2 |
