Poles were carried in the Moab Garage boat to push off sand bars and off the bank and in landing , to slow up . It takes the trucks about two and ( one-half onehalf ) hours each way from Moab to Thompson and return . The Chevrolet mail trucks make it in about one hour and ten or fifteen minutes .
