Show 1091 While on Colorado River in 1926 , the party went up the river in a boat ; does not remember how they went out iii 1927 , and does not remember where he went out overland with a pack train . ( R . 4352 . ) Went overland from ( Bluff Bluff- Bluff ) to ( Moab Aloab ) . ( R . 4353 . ) He saw one row boat going upstream on the Colorado , and saw two row boats rowed upstream . ( R . 4354-4355 . ) If stopped getting out of the channel , on sand bars , they had no trouble getting off . ( R . ( 4355 43055 ) . ) . He believes the ( bed "Ded Ded ) of the Colorado ( on oil ) the section lie was on was quite permanent . He never saw any ( changes clianges ) . ( R . 4355-4356 . ) Saw changes in the bed on the San Juan and it shifted around but not from day to day . The San Juan ( changes chancres ) every time the water ( conies comes ) up or goes down in a great flood , but there are places where it does not change . One place it does not change is just below mouth of ( Nbkai Nokai ) Canyon and at ( Zahii's Zahiis Zahn's Zahns ) Camp . He never saw the ( current curxent ) of the river change ( there Vaere ) . ( R . 4356-4357 . ) Has observed a change at the mouth of ( JSTokai Nokai ) and ( at' at at- at ) the mouth of Copper Canyon , but not at the mouth of Piute Canyon . He has seen it change at Indian Farms . Did not find the same condition on the Colorado River , as that was permanent . ( R . 4357-4358 . ) |
