Show that we could pick a certain 975 period so that we would get the load of these three upper stations going past the Lees Ferry Station . ( R 3806 . ) He ( means ra-eans raeans ) that the same 50,000,000 tons may not have reached Lees Ferry ; there may have been a load that reached Lees Ferry ; of that load of 131,000,000 tons that reached Lees Ferry , 50,000,000 tons may have come from Greenriver , but it may not have come during that particular year . He has shown that between their stations at Bright Angel and Topock , the load for any given period is quite different ; during the fall , the Topock Station carries a larger load than Bright Angel Station ; the Bright Angel Station is about 250 miles above Topock . But during the spring floods , the larger load is carried at the ( Bright -Bright Bright ) Angel Station . There must be a deposition between those two ( stations station5 ) , or material is carried in some manner that we do not measure . The meaning of these figures all depends on other factors ; that is , it depends on volume of water and velocity of water . That is , 50,000,000 tons at Greenriver , with a certain amount of water , would have a different effect than 50,000,000 tons with other amounts of water because this , 50,000,000 tons is based upon the quantity flowing by Greenriver ; they have to consider that . The SPECIAL MASTER : ( "Q Q ) , Yes ; but what I mean is , that a showing of 50,000,000 tons , we will say , in the Mississippi River at a given point would be quite different from a ( show- show ) |
