He has also hauled manganese ore from the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company deposits south of Floy . This deposit is located eight or nine miles ( east cast ) of Greenriver and he personally hauled ( man- man ) ( ganese gauese ) ore from the deposit to the railroad during the war and just before it ended . He ( doesn't doesnt ) really know just when he started or just when he quit but he was probably hauling there a couple of months just before the war ended and he delivered five or six hundred tons a month to Floy that is located on the ( Bio Rio ) Grande Railroad . ( R . 4807 . ) ( "When When When ) he hauled uranium ore it was for the ( Stand Stand- Stand ) ard Chemical Company and he ( used uscd ) six horse teams and he must have worked for them for about a year steady . He has never been right at the ( ura- ura ) nium mine , but only to Trachyte Camp , which was near there , and about fifteen or twenty miles west of the Colorado River , if not a little farther than that . ( R . 4808 . ) He has done a considerable amount of land freighting in that section of the country . He ( knows knows' knows ) what the comparative cost of land freighting per mile is , with water carrying both up and down stream on the Green River , from his own ( experi experi- experi ) ence . |
