The longest delay he had ( dur- dur ) ing the time he operated the Chandler boat was caused by burning out a bearing and the boat was hauled home on the big boat , causing a delay of a day or two to have a new bearing installed . ( R . 5012-5013 . ) Aside from that , the longest time he ever recalls being held up while operating the Chandler , was not over thirty minutes , he being held up three or four times that long . In operating the Chandler boat he would get on a sand bar for a minute or two or five minutes When he was operating the Punkin Seed and the Black boat the percentage of trips on which he would encounter difficulty ( was iras ) less than with the Chandler boat .
