Show Section of river between 915 North ( Wash Allash ) and Hanson Creek , sand bars ( most inost ) everywhere along the river , , but that section tolerably free , because there is more swift water from North Wash down to Bullfrog Rapids , than any one place in the large Glen Canyon . . ( R . 3625-3626 . ) In that section of the river between North Wash and Hanson Creek , they encountered rapids . . There was sand bars along most everywhere in the river , but not there , that was tolerably free , because from North Wash down to Bullfrog Rapids there is more swift water than any one place in the large Glen Canyon ; they call that Glen Canyon from there to Lees Ferry . ( R . 3625-3626 . ) The different stretches of water in the river caused rearrangement of the sand bars in the bed ( con- con ) tinually ; the channel changing during summer floods , and after every high water , particularly , when water came from side canyons , such as Trachyte and White Canyons and Crescent Creek and it would deposit large quantities of silt and sand in the channel . He noticed different channel changes nearly every time he went up and down the river in a boat . He did not note these changes as being daily or weekly , because it was a continuous change , the sand working and rolling all the time . ( R . 3626 . ) Of course , at times it moves faster and there is ( mare mDre ) of it ; but each year the water will boil up , and it will crack in the night .
