Elle veut que dans leurs Aiiemblées, ils ne traitent que de ce qui peut tendre à la perfedion de leurs diverses Sciences, fans qu'aucune autre matière y'puifle être agitée; qu'ils y obfervent la plus parfaite égalité en-tr eux , fans autre diftinclion que celle des différentes ClafTes, & de l'ancienneté de réception ; & qu'ils entretiennent unecorrefoon-dance & une liaifon intime avec l'Académie Royale des Sciences de Paris, comme nefai-fànt qu'un feul & même Corps. Ces Lettres Patentes font fuivies des Statuts que le Roy a fait drefîer pour la Société Royale des Sciences, & qui font contenus en 43 Articles, énoncez dans les mêmes termes que les Statuts de l'Académie Royale des Sciences de Paris, à quelques petites différences prés, qui roulent fur ce que les Aflbciez dans cène nouvelle Société, doivent s'acquitter des mêmes fondions , aufquelles font engagez les Penfîonnaires, dans l'Académie; fur ce qu'il ne s'y doit tenir qu'une Aflêmblée publique chaque année , le premier Jeudy d'après la S.
