Il y en a /îx ; Ravoir un Sermon pour le jour des Rois , un Sermon nour le jour de TAflomption de la Vierge, in pour la Fête de S. Bernard , un j>our la Fête de fainte Therefe, un pour la Fêce d'un Martyr, & un pour la Profeflîon Religieufe d'une nouvelle Convertie. On remarque dans tous ces Sermon* un tour fingulier, des expreffions vives & brillantes, un feu , une^énergie qu'on ne trou-veroic pas aifément ailleurs. L'Orateur fait paroître une imagination fi riche , & en même temps fî rapide dans Tes mouvemens , qu'on craint d'abord qu'il ne (bit 3 comme la plupart des autres perfcnnes de ce cara&ere, fujer à manquer contre la juflefle; mais on fe raflure ailément dès qu'on examine l'ordre qu'il fuit, les raifonnemens qu'il fait, & le rapport naturel qui lie fes penfées les unes avec les autres. Dans le Sermon pour la Fête des Roîs, il entreprend de prouver que la Converfïon des Gentils eft à la vérité un fujet de joye, mais quelle eft autfi un fujet de frayeur pour nous.
