Continued site maintenance of roads and ditches around the Repository. • Discontinued the removal of contaminated soil from Slag Pile Soils and Lagoon Site. • To date, 18,352 cy have been transported to the Repository. • Completed concrete and soils removal at Acid Plant #8 and Gas Handling Footprint. A total of36,796 cy of contaminated soil was hauled to the Repository (9765 cy during this reporting period). Approximately 6020 cy of clean concrete was excavated and sent to the Smelter Concrete Mono-fill. • • • Completed construction of a material storage pad on the Acid Plant #8 and Gas Handling Footprint. Completed sub grade, concrete sumps, process water lines, and storm water collection system. Completed the demolition of the concrete from the SA Decon Pad CAMU and began excavating contaminated soils.
