Show THE ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF LONDON. Tars Society was founded in 1S26 by Sir Stamford R affles, Mr. J. Sabine, Mr. N. A. V igors, and other eminent Naturalists, for the advancement of Zoology and Animal Physiology, and for the introduction of new and curious subjects of the Animal Kingdom, and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1829.
