Gulf of Oman, Maskat; 15 fathoms, muddy sand. A larger variety occurs, lat. 26° 50' N., long. 54° 50' E.; 10 fathoms, sand. N.B.-Crassatellites omanensis Smith, from 230 fathoms in the Gulf of Oman, was acquired during the ‘ Investigator - Expedition's recent cruise. Fam. C y p r in id .e .
