Callista ph a s ia n e l l a Desh. P.G. Gulf of Oman. 10 fathoms, muddy sand. Near Maskat at 40 fathoms, exceptionally fine and large. M.C. Fairly general. I. Karachi. Smith as dredged at 230 fathoms by R.I.M.S. ‘ Investigator' in the Gulf of Oman (Ann. & Mag. N. H. (7) vol. xviii. p. 260, 1906). M.C. In coarser condition at Charbar Bay. 15 fathoms.
