Selon lui, U Soleil miffant neceffairement, & félon le poids de fa nature, qui eft immuable y il fait toutes fe$ courfesjournalieres, C^ tous fes tours annuels d'une égale vheffe , ($* dune égale durée ; & la durée des tours annuels eft précifémenc celle de Tannée Grégorienne; première fup-pofîtion fur laquelle il calcule, & règle la durée des mois & des jours Solaires. Il en va de même de la Lune. Immuable dans fa nature , comme le Soleil, & comme lui agiflant félon le poids de cette nature immuable, (é$ raouvemens font uniformes, & fes révolutions s'achèvent toutes en temps égal ; & ce temps, loit des jours , ou dos mois Lunaires, eft au jufte celui qui refulte de l'égalité fuppofée entre la durée de 19. années Grégoriennes , & celle de z^. mois Lunaires.
