L'Auteur, après avoir avancé tout fîmplement ces deux propofitions, rcfléchiflant fur la nouveauté & fur l'importance de fon plan,fe remercie loi-mcme d'avoir heureufement diffipé le nuage qui déroboit Homère à nos yeux5& tiré ce grand Poëte des profondes ténèbres où iU-toit enfeveli depuis fî long-temps.
