Aperceuida la guerra y hecha la gente mas y mas lucida que pudo, prometiendoles grandes preminencias y privilegios si saliesen con la quel deseaba, sali6 la gente de las ciudailes a. los valles · d~ Atlixco, donde se di6 1a batalla y tur6 por muchos dias, prendien~ o Y matando de ambas partes mucha gente, no queriendo los mexiCanos dexar de llevar adelante aquella guerra, por muchas amonestaciones que los vexotzincas les hacian y GENTE que les mataban i Y AS{ prendian mucho numero de gente, basta tener de los 487 vexot~~ncas numero bastante para el sacrificio conque al rey ayrado pudtese agradar; y asi todos los dias que tur6 esta guerra, siempre se sefialaron y aventajaron los tlatilulcas, porque ningun dia salieron al combate, solos 6 acompanados, que no truxesen gente presa y dexasen otra mucha muerta 6 mal herida; y asi, despues que los mexicanos vieron que ya auia numero de gente con que poder satisfacer la hambre del rey ayrado, que tanto deseaba haccr rnatar y sacrificar yndios, al9aron el real y partieron para Mexico, donde DE toda la ciudad y del rey fueron bien recebidos y los heridos mandaron curar.-Los del Tlaltilulco le ofi·ecieron ciento y veinte presos para que se sirviese dellos.
