Q It wasn't a straight- away trip to Lees Ferry? A No. Q When you got to lees ferry what did you do? A We turned around and came back up to the Meskin bar. Q How far is that above Lees Ferry? A About twenty miles, as near as I remember, below Warm creek, there. Q The same proposition -- A Same proposition. Q Poling? A Poling, working along there. Q How long did you work that Meskin bar? A Didn't work it very long. Q Then where did you go? A Then I came back up and worked the Moqui bar again, the little Giant, and the bars along up Hall's creek. Q Did you bring your boat up? A Yes, brought our small boat up. Q Meskin come with you? A Yes sir. Q Any incidents in connection with that trip of difficulties that you have not already related? |
