Show 5056 F. Johnson- D 3068 A On this particular trip? Q Yes. A No, I don't; don't remember. Q Did you ever see that barge again that was attached to the Violet Louise? A Ferry boat, yes; I saw the ferry boat which came back; that is the one that had the coal on, that came back down. Q Did you see it come back down? A No sir, I didn't see it . I didn't see it while it was floating in the water. I saw it after it was tied up. Q Where was The Violet Louise the next time you saw it? A I was down at a point just above what we call the rapids, which is approximately three- quarters of a mile below the ferry. It was tied there to some willows when I saw it next times. Q Do you know what became of it? THE SPECIAL MASTER: Hasn't this been testified to, Mr. Blackmar? Hardly worth while to repeat it. We know it went to Flagstaff. MR. FARSWORTH: I don't know whether it was taken over to that lake or not. But I have no reason to doubt that it was. |
